Before shampooing, be sure to gently brush hair to remove any possible tangles. Fill basin or sink with warm water and wet your hair with the warm water in a downward motion, starting close to the top of the weft. Once the hair is wet enough, apply a small amount of moisturizing shampoo in a downward motion to remove the initial dirt and excess oils from your hair. Rinse, if needed, repeat process again until the water runs clear. Apply conditioner, again working in a downwards motion. It’s recommended that to let the conditioner sit for a few minutes. You may work through hair with a wide-toothed comb to further detangle, if need be. Rinse with cool water. Gently blot or squeeze excess water from hair and proceed to allow the hair to air dry naturally. Please allow hair to dry completely before re-using or styling. When styling, it is recommended to avoid alcohol based products as these will dry out the hair and could lead to matting or tangling. Also, when using heat, although possible, it is recommended that you use a temperature of no higher than 350 degrees.
